One month

Hi baby E, tomorrow you'll be 1 month old! You are such a sweet little thing. Daddy and I are so in love with you! In this short month you've completely stolen our hearts and we can't imagine life without you in it. You love to lay on daddy's chest and pull his beard, and when you're not making him cringe you're gracing him with your adorable smile. You also gave him your first chuckle yesterday. Not quite a laugh yet, but he'll ask you if something is funny and you'll grin and chuckle at him. You really are a doll. You've been working on tummy time and have become quite strong, holding your head up for over 10 seconds at a time. You love to eat and you seem to have hit a growth spurt. You currently weigh 8 pounds and 9 ounces and are 22 inches long! You turn your head when you hear mommy or daddy talk to you, and you love listening to music and dancing around the living room with mommy. At birth your hair was dark, but has since lightened to an almost red color, and as of yesterday the front half has started falling out, (normal baby stuff but still so sad to see it gone). It's slowly being replaced with new peach fuzz but I can't tell yet what color it is. Daddy and I are still taking guesses on what color your eyes will be. Daddy wants blue and I want brown or hazel. You definitely keep us on our toes, you don't like to be put down and prefer to be packed around in the baby Bjorn, which is fine by me, since I could hold you all day and never get enough! Well, I better get you back to bed, mommy is supposed to sleep when you sleep! Love you baby girl, love mommy
