Oh Baby!!!

Ten minutes past midnight. It's officially Christmas Eve. In a few short hours more of your family will be here to celebrate the holiday with us. As I lay here in bed, feeling you kick I feel the need to thank you. You've made me gag, vomit and eat eggs. You've made me cry over work, and love and songs (listen to Trans Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Cannon Rock and tell me why I was bawling). You've made me hiccup, and laugh and pee, yes, in that order. But most importantly you've made me happy. You've made my wildest dreams come true. You've made me a mom. This is the most precious gift you can ever give me. I am forever grateful. So tonight, or rather this morning, as I lay with my hand on my belly, feeling you move and wiggle. I count my blessings this Christmas Eve, as I count your kicks. And I thank you for being the precious miracle that you are. My most cherished gift. Merry Christmas my little Bean. Love Mommy

They say pregnant women crave odd foods like pickles and ice cream. But me? So far I just want pizza. ALL. THE. TIME. I probably have it at least once a week, with a ginormous salad, cause let's face it, I love salad too. Daddy was getting tired of pizza so I started hitting Pizza hut on my lunch break, so I could sneak pizza into my life without anyone knowing. But it's really hard to hide it from everyone when I come back to work smelling like yummy pepperoni! Yesterday daddy surprised me with a wood fired pizza oven and stone for our grill and we made home made pizza with home made dough too! They were amazingly delicious and we had a blast cooking them together. I think we're going to make pizza for Christmas Eve dinner, so that means we'll have to practice our pizza making skills at least one more time before then! Yay!
