You Do What You Want

Hi my little camera shy stink bug! Today we learned a valuable lesson as parents. You do what you want. 😂 Truly. Daddy scheduled a 4D ultrasound with video and photos for us as his Valentine's Day present to me and your grandma's. So we all met up at Sweet Pea Imagery. I got up on the table, the tech goo'ed me up with gel and you promptly presented us with the back of your head! The tech tried jiggling you with the wand and you responded by showing us your feet and fists! I tried wiggling you by poking at my belly and again.... Feet and fists! You're hilariously stubborn. You stayed curled up in a tiny little ball of baby and smooshed your face up against my uterus just enough for us to get a quick glimpse right up your nose! Soo attractive! I am so happy we went though, I absolutely love getting to know you and your big personality! Next Thursday we will try again. Hopefully you will face forward and ham it up for the camera! Snuggles

Sweet little miss, I adore our snuggles! You definitely have a knack for making mommy and daddy feel special. When you get fussy all we have to do is pick you up. I'll put you up to my shoulder and you'll put your little arms around my neck and snuggle in. Sometimes it's all you need to fall asleep. Next week on June 4th I go back to work and you'll be spending your days with my sweet friend Sarah and her two little girls. I know you'll be in good hands while I'm working, but a large part of me is so sad to be giving up my days of snuggling you whenever you need it, and breastfeeding you full time. These precious moments have slipped by too fast and I will miss them with all of my being. I have cherished our 2 months of bonding so much! Mommy loves you Babers

Hi baby E, tomorrow you'll be 1 month old! You are such a sweet little thing. Daddy and I are so in love with you! In this short month you've completely stolen our hearts and we can't imagine life without you in it. You love to lay on daddy's chest and pull his beard, and when you're not making him cringe you're gracing him with your adorable smile. You also gave him your first chuckle yesterday. Not quite a laugh yet, but he'll ask you if something is funny and you'll grin and chuckle at him. You really are a doll. You've been working on tummy time and have become quite strong, holding your head up for over 10 seconds at a time. You love to eat and you seem to have hit a growth spurt. You currently weigh 8 pounds and 9 ounces and are 22 inches long! You turn your head when you hear mommy or daddy talk to you, and you love listening to music and dancing around the living room with mommy.
